Course Overview

The Short Course in Practical Finance Skills for Beginners is a 10-hour introductory program held online. The course is conducted over 5 days, with each session lasting 2 hours on weekdays from 8.00 PM to 10.00 PM.

The curriculum focuses on teaching basic money management through topics like financial statements, budgeting, and cash flow. Instruction is provided in Simple English with Sinhala explanations to help everyone understand easily. Participants get hands-on experience with free tools like Excel and Google Sheets and receive a certificate from Richwick Metropolitan Campus upon completion.

The graduate of the Short Course in Practical Finance Skills for Beginners is a capable person with a basic understanding of financial management. They can understand financial statements, create budgets, and use digital tools to manage money. They are prepared to handle financial tasks professionally and ethically for small businesses or personal needs

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria to enroll in the Cert (HRM) programme:

  • G.C.E (A/L) Three Passes.
  • G.C.E (O/L) Six Passes including English with 01 year of work experience.

Recommendations: It is highly recommended that participants have proficiency in written and spoken English and the ability to work effectively in teams.

The total investment for the Certificate in HRM is Rs. 25,000.

  • Instalment Plan: Rs. 12,500 per term.
  • Duration: 04 Months (Two Terms).
  • Medium: English.
